International Bricklayer Training in Australia
Bricklaying Training for International Students
Brick and blocklaying training is available in Australia for international students from overseas countries. The courses comprise two years of training, both on-site and off-site.
The training is authorised by CRICOS and conditions of training can be found on their website http://cricos.deewr.gov.au
Graduates will gain a bricklaying qualification CPC30108 Certificate III in General Construction (Bricklaying/Blocklaying).

Graduates Path to Residency
People completing the course and gaining the Australian qualification in bricklaying may apply for a Skilled Graduate Visa which provides 18 months additional time to gain the skills in bricklaying needed to apply for a permanent General Skilled Migration (GSM) Visa.
People may also apply for an Employer Sponsored Visa at any time.
Skill requirements include:
- Bricklaying occupation must be on Skills Occupation List (SOL)
- Skills must be assessed by a relevant assessing authority
- English language threshold must be met.
