TAS Apprenticeship Training

TAS apprenticeship training in bricklaying requires completion of Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying. Course Code: CPC30108.

The nominal term of the bricklaying apprenticeship in Tasmania is four years however early completion can be achieved by progress and completion - based on competencies achieved.

Apprenticeship Training is undertaken by a combination of off-site tuition and assessment at a Hobart TAFE  and on-site training under the guidance of the employer.

A contract of training and a training plan is the basis of the apprenticeship course.

An apprentice is paid apprentice wages while attending off-site apprenticeship training.
