An apprentice wage in Victoria… what can I expect?

Minimum apprentice wages in Victoria can change with the introduction of new government regulations and industry guidelines.

For the most current information visit the Australian Government’s Fairwork Authority website. Alternatively you can phone their live help online: 13 13 94 – between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday (local time) to speak with one of their representatives about current apprentice wages.

Bricklayers and Apprentices – Wage Info

Award Wages for bricklayers and apprentice bricklayers are covered by the Building and Construction General on-site Award 2010. Modern Award Code MA000020 can be viewed at Fair Work Ombudsman.

If you are an apprentice in Victoria, you can also register with Master Builders Association (MBA) for a free membership. They can also assist you with wage information.
