WA Apprenticeship Training

WA apprenticeship training in bricklaying requires completion of Certificate III in Bricklaying / Blocklaying. Course Code: CPC30108.

The nominal term of the bricklaying apprenticeship in Western Australia is three years however early completion can be achieved by recognition of prior learning, previous pre-vocational training or competency based acceleration.

Apprenticeship training is undertaken by a combination of off-site tuition and assessment at a TAFE or Registered Training Organisation and on-site assessment and training under the guidance of the employer.

A contract of training and a training plan is the basis of the apprenticeship course.

An apprentice is paid apprentice wages while attending off-site apprenticeship training.
