I visited Trystan Sammut onsite in Ballarat recently to see how preparations were going for the October International WorldSkills event, where he’ll be representing Australia in Bricklaying. Trystan works for Lawler Bricklaying of Ballarat and when we caught up he was working locally, at the Eureka Stadium, home of the VFL Roosters although he can be anywhere in the State, from his home base to Caulfield in Melbourne’s suburbs – where ever he’s needed. Stage one of the $15 million Eureka Stadium enlargement project includes a 5,000-seat grandstand, with the stadium capacity of around 11,000.
