ABBTF in Western Australia is partnering with the Small Business Development Corporation to offer a free, two hour workshop for Bricklayers that may assist them in setting up and running a successful business.
This opportunity will not only give Bricklayers some insight into managing their business’s better, but also put them in contact with a potential small business mentor, supported and endorsed by the state Government.
Andrew Maurice (Program Co-ordinator of the Industry Link Program) will be presenting this important information at our facility at unit 7/110 Bannister Road, Canning Vale on Monday November 7, between 5-7pm.
If you wish to attend, RSVP is essential, no later than Friday October 28, by filling in the form at the bottom of this page, e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org or contact our office on 1300 66 44 96. Apprentices are also most welcome to attend.
Andrew Maurice says “Setting up a business can seem a bit daunting. If you are thinking about starting out on your own, or perhaps are planning to in the future, Business Basics is the place to start. This practical 2 hour workshop will take through the first steps in establishing a business; from an initial assessment (is running your own business right for you?), to financing your idea, and identifying initial and on-going work opportunities.
Business Basics will provide you with an overview of all the key issues you need to consider, along with hints and tips on where to find more detailed information and advice. You’ll also receive a practical workbook that you can use as the foundation of your business plan (an essential part of setting up a business).
The workshop is presented by the Small Business Development Corporation – a government organisation that helps thousands of clients to start their business journey every year.”
